  • Burger Binge-ing at Frank's

Cyril and I finally got our accumulated paychecks for two months. (Working as brainstormers for soap operas airing in GMA has given us relatively light schedules and hopefully, bigger pays.) Since we're new and we don't have our company IDs yet, we couldn't easily get our paychecks. Luckily, we charmed our way into the bulk before Christmas.

And to celebrate this momentous day, Cyril brought me to Frank's, an inconspicuous restaurant in the scout area, which specializes in homemade burgers. I ordered the philly cheese steak burger and a glass of fresh melon shake. The hearty plate comes with a generous serving of freshly-fried potato fries.

The ambiance:  Homey. The outdoor dining area is breezy and allows smoking customers. The kitchen is a stone's throw away; you can see the fumes and the workers. The indoor dining area is air-conditioned. The seating capacity is around 30-40 people.

The menu: There are pasta, rice meals, salads and a long list of drinks--think American joint dining-style.

The price: The burger I ordered comes at P150--a bargain for its big serving! The prices are within that range as well.

The verdict: Two-thumbs up! The food's prepared on the spot, the crew is friendly, and you can make last-minute requests when necessary. :D
