Illumination

Today's journal entry was this:

This is what I wrote underneath the drawing:

"If you have been doing a hobby for more than a year, it sticks with you, becomes a part of your character, identity. It shapes who you are, like a potter molding a malleable clay. But if you've been dreaming of the same thing for the last two decades... It never wears off, even if you're doing something else. It doesn't only define you--it becomes you."

Says a lot about my line of thoughts and priorities at the moment. No wonder I failed (sort of) in perfecting those bowls. - 9/16/2013
