No, its not in any way related to the hit 80s rock song. The concept is actually the opposite. Its not about waiting and rediscovering and long distance eternal love affairs. Its about deception and betrayal, of mistresses and girl friends, and of course, of love.
It stars Maxene Magalona as Stella, a kind housewife whose perfect filial life was shattered when she found out her husband Kevin, portrayed by Marc Abaya, is leaving with a mistress. And said mistress happened to be one of her bestfriends.
She then plunges headlong into the messy affair and tries to uncover who among Dina (Vaness del Moral), Luchie (Michelle Madrigal), and Misha (Bel Daza) betrayed her.
The soap was conceptualized by my mentor, RJ Nuevas. We're just in our pilot week so you still have time to catch up! It airs after Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka in the GMA Afternoon Prime block. - 6/21/2012
